Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.  A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.   The restocking fee allows us to recapture our time and expenses used to get you the product you requested.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, uninstalled and in its original packaging. 

To start a return, you can contact us at Orders@straptperformance.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the address given once we confirm your return request.   DO NOT return to sender as some returned items go to certain locations based on brand or warehouse that fulfilled the order.   Items returned without a return approval and return instructions may get lost and we will not be responsible for the lost items.

Once your return request is approved we will send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.   If you are returning an item by your choice or mistake and not due to defect or other out of your control then you are responsible for the return shipping cost.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

We MUST be notified within 3 business days if your item was damaged during shipping.   Shipping carries put a time limit on us to process damage claims so if you do not let us know in a timely manner we can not work with them to file a damage claim and replace the product.   If you do not report a damage claim within 3 business days you are accepting the item as is.

If your item is missing parts, like hardware or brackets for example, you must notify us within 3 business days.   We will need pictures of the box or boxes it was shipped in along with pictures showing what was in the box so we can work with the manufacturer to replace the needed components.   Check the instructions for a contents list.   Many manufacturers will supply a phone number or email to call for missing parts and will prefer to work with you directly rather than having us relay the information back and forth.  


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Electronic items can not be returned after being installed.   If there is an issue after being installed it can only be replaced by the manufacturer in accordance to the manufacturer warranty policy.  Most manufacturers will work with you directly but if you need help let us know.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
