Installation

Yes we do Installs.  Conveniently located in North Phoenix just off the 101 freeway at Cave Creek Road.

At Strapt Performance we have been an installation shop since 2010, long before launching our retail website.  We started out and still specialize in the 3/4 ton and 1 ton truck market because we are a Carli Suspension and Thuren Suspension stocking dealer.  Our customers come from all over the southwest to have a Carli Suspension system expertly installed and tuned in.  Many times customers that had other shops install or customers that have done a DIY install will still bring their truck to us when they cant get the set up just right.  But we dont stop there.  We can also do your 1/2 ton trucks like F150, Tacoma, Tundra, Silverado and even Jeeps.

Our schedule is usually pretty booked doing suspension work.  But to help be a one stop shop and do the full build we also do wheels and tires.  We are a direct dealer for brands like Method, Fuel, Raceline and many others.  If you need tires we work with the top brands like Falken, Cooper, Toyo and Nitto.  Doing the whole build helps us make sure you are getting the right set up so we can dial in your suspension to match the desired wheel and tire size.

On the half ton side we work with brands like Bilstein, Fox, Icon, King, Eibach, Cognito and many more.  Most of the time these trucks just need a Level Kit to fit a larger tire and improve off road performance.   If you are looking for a 10" lift and 24" wheels then we probably aren't the place for you.  We prefer to focus on ride quality and performance.

If you are towing we can help you out with our line of products from AirLift.  We try to keep most of the common kits in stock, along with onboard air compressors

Besides suspension we also install performance upgrades like cold air intakes, exhaust systems, intercoolers, tuners etc.  You might also want to add more lights so we have those too from Baja Designs.

We are typically booked up at least 2 weeks out so plan ahead.  If a shop can do your work the next day then there is probably a reason why they aren't very busy.

So browse the website to get an idea of what parts you want.  Then give us a call, email or website chat to ask about getting a quote for installation.

Survey Says.... Level Kits is the number one answer

We know, you want to put bigger tires on your F150. So you have to at least level it. The most popular way to level the F150 is with a Bilstein 5100 kit. This replaces your front shocks but uses the OE spring to help keep the factory ride quality but with an upgraded shock that allows you to choose where to set the spring height. The kit is completed with a pair of matching rear shocks.

If you are going to hit the trails hard then look into our Stage 2 Bilstein kit. This kit comes with the Bilstein 6112 front shocks that are 2.5" diameter, so they are bigger and stronger than the stock shocks. They also come with a Bilstein specific coil spring. Then the kit is matched with a pair of Bilstein 5160 remote reservoir rear shocks.

Its ok to inhale

There are many choices out there for a cold air intake system. When we are asked to install one at the shop we use S&B systems. They are well made, improve air flow, use large filters and usually cost less than the competition. Pick the right one for your year and engine, dont blame me if you cant read.

Exhale

Changing the exhaust is a very personal taste. Some want it loud, some want a little rumble. I'll just say what I like that gave me the right exhaust tone without being too loud and without being too expensive. Now this kit from MBRP will fit 5.0L and Ecoboost trucks. I personally run it on an Ecoboost and it sounds great. And believe me, not many systems can make an Ecoboost sound good. For most of us this kit below will be fine but if you live in an area more prone to rust then get the stainless steel version part number MBRPS5256409

Lights You Can Use

A lighting upgrade that is useful and street legal. These Baja Designs SAE approved LED fog pocket kits are easy to install and are plug and play with your factory fog light harness. They are huge improvement over the stock fog lights and will be useful in offroad use as well. Available in Amber and Clear.

Now This is Fun, PsHHHH

This is one of my personal favorite mods on my EcoBoost F150. The Turbosmart Electronic Blow Off Valve is not going to give you any more horsepower but it does make driving the truck much more fun. Make those Subaru drivers jealous when they realize its an F150 making blow off valve noises.
