The steering assist and Ford’s 1° – 3.6° allowable caster range seems to work alright for those equipped with stock, relatively low-mileage Super Duties but, once a lift or oversized tire enters the equation, the handling at this low caster specification leaves us wanting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen lifting the front of the Super Duty 3 – 3.5″, the factory caster is reduced by approximately 1.5°. For the 2020-23 Super Duty, we provide a\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.carlisuspension.com\/product\/ford\/f250-f350\/sd-components\/2017-plus\/ford-2-5-lift-castershim-2\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e2° caster shim\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/a\u003ewhich is enough to restore this caster and add a touch more – unfortunately, this “touch more” is rarely enough for proper tracking. This leaves us recommending our\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.carlisuspension.com\/product\/ford\/f250-f350\/sd-components\/2023-ford-f250-f350-components\/23-ford-f250-350-4x4-fabricated-radius-arms-3-5-lift\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eAdjustable Radius Arms\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eproven to add an additional 2.5° of caster (when maxed).
